We are not just promoting physical activity and healthy competition, but we’re also encouraging students to connect with their peers and build lasting memories.
This year’s homeschool field day is going to be jam-packed! From the competition to the prizes, activities and entertainment, food, and vendor market, there will be lots of fun to be had.
Compete & win
Field day is all about getting active and joining the fun, so EVERYONE is a winner! Each participant will be celebrated at the award ceremony and receive a certificate of participation and a small gift. We also have special ribbons for the winners of each event and a first place prize for the winning team in each age group!

Competing in the field day games is simple and easy. We have broken down the process below for your convenience.

Entertainment & Activities
Ride The Train
Want to ride the train, make sure to put your child’s name on the list when you arrive to ensure they get a chance to ride! This train is suitable for children and parents to ride along with the child. This train holds 18 children at a time and the rides are free, just sign up and ride!!
Enjoy Face Painting
Stop by the face painting booth and receive fun sleeves or face designs! Sessions are free but tips are encouraged!
Grab A Balloon at the Twist Station
From flowers to swords, animals to fun creations, don’t forget to grab your free balloon before the fun is done!
Schedule
Check-In Opens
Participants and families check in at the registration desk to receive their t-shirts, team assignments, and event schedule.

Opening Ceremony
The event starts with a brief word, the singing of the national anthem, and the presentation of the competing teams!

Morning Games
Children rotate through various game stations, such as relay races, tug-of-war, obstacle courses, etc.

Break Time
Participants are able to take time to grab some food and peruse the vendor stalls and enjoy non-competition games and activities.

Afternoon Games
Children continue with the remaining games, including sack races, dodgeball, and other fun challenges.

Award Ceremony
All participants receive a certificate of participation and a small gift. We recognize and award the top-performing teams and individual participants in each category.

What is a homeschool field day?
A homeschool field day is a day-long event where children of all ages come together to participate in various outdoor games and activities.
Who can participate?
There will be something for everyone. However, competition games will be for students ages 5-17. Each team will be split by age level for peer appropriate competition. There will also be activities and games for those who are not competing in events.
Do I need to bring anything?
It is usually a good idea to bring sunscreen, chair or blanket, running shoes, socks (for bounce houses), water, and a water bottle.
My child has special needs, are they able to participate?
Yes, our special needs specialist has organized appropriate team activities so that everyone can participate and enjoy the event.
I have a toddler, is there anything for them to do?
Yes, we will have bounce houses, an on-location playground, fun activities, and games available for them as well.
What is a team spirit squad?
Represent your child(ren) and cheer them on from the sidelines as a member of the spirit squad!
How do I join the spirit squad competition?
Simply check the box during registration and you will be entered on the corresponding team's squad to your child.
